Dive Report Oriskany May 2, 2017
Well the weather finally gave us a break and we were able to get a trip out. Oh was it beautiful! Flat seas with small rollers, and clear blue skies. We had 15 divers on board with the majority of the group from Indian Valley Scuba. When we pulled up on site, we were greeted with nice blue water. Visibility was 60+ ft and the water is definitely warming up! Temps ranged from low to mid 70s depending on where you were in the water column. We had very little current on the wreck and it was beaming with life. Huge amberjack were feeding on the big schools of mingo snapper, putting on quite a show. One shovel nose lobster was brought up for the Captain to enjoy for dinner!
