Oriskany, Pete Tide II & Oceanwinds Dive Report 9-16-17
Don’t worry the Mighty O was unharmed by the storm! We had two beautiful dives with 50ft vis and some current on the wreck. The water temp was 87 at the surface and 73 at depth. Congrats to the customers that bagged some BIG lionfish today!
For round two we hit the Pete Tide II and Oceanwinds. On the wrecks we encountered current and were surrounded by bait fish making vis limited to around 20ft for the Pete Tide II and 15ft on the Oceanwinds. Water temperatures were similar as well, 70 at depth on the Pete Tide II and 73 on the Oceanwinds. Some great experiences today… bait fish everywhere and a dolphin did tricks for us while tying in! Another awesome day on the gulf!
