Dive Report Oriskany — April 8, 2017
We had 2 foot seas. 50 foot of visibility on the wreck. SSW current running across the wreck that you could use the tower to get out of. Water was 68 degrees too to bottom. Saw schools of big amber and almaco jacks, creole and mingo snapper. Spanish hogfish, rock beauties and endless other reef fish were covering the wreck. The barracuda guard dogs were out and about. A couple of lionfish were spotted on the tower, and several were spotted on the deck. One slipper lobster was pulled off the wreck and brought home for dinner.
